This is one of my favorite local spots, and the one I return to most often. “Hollandia Nurseries”, located in Bethel, CT, is a huge garden center and gift shop. It is truly a plant lovers paradise, and there’s a reason it’s tremendously popular in my area. They are in full bloom right now, and it is such a green and vibrant place to visit (whether you want to make a purchase or simply roam the premises!) You can take beautiful photos here as well! There is so much to see and explore and we are grateful to have this right here in our hometown!☺️
First, explore their greenhouses and 3 acres of mesmerizing gardens. You will find endless different plants, shrubs, flowers, succulents, and more! Secondly, make sure to say hello to their chickens! The chickens are located at different parts of the gardens, and they are too cute! Thirdly, check out their lovely gift shop to find adorable gift & seasonal items (and of course, endless gardening supplies!) My favorite part about Hollandia Nurseries, is that it’s exciting to visit at any time of year. In the summer it’s peaceful and colorful, but in the winter it transforms into what looks like a Christmas movie! There are endless decorations everywhere and festive flare, and it is truly a sight to see. It is absolutely magical, and not to mention the perfect place to shop for any Christmas items you need for your home! I love living so close by to this beautiful local spot. I highly recommend you visit if you’re a local or planning on being in town!
