The Georgia Ren Fest was a total blast this year! From turkey legs and mead to jousting matches and hilarious stage shows, it felt like stepping straight into a medieval fantasy. The actors and vendors were fully in character, which made the whole experience super immersive. It was busy but well organized—we never waited long for food or shows. Already counting down to next season! If you love themed festivals, this one’s definitely worth adding to your spring plans.
What to know:
🛡️ Dress up or don’t—but comfy shoes are a must. It’s a big fairground with lots of walking (and dancing if you’re into that!).
💰 Bring cash. While most vendors take cards, cash is quicker and some places are still cash-only.
🌞 Sunscreen & water are lifesavers. It’s mostly outdoors with limited shade. They allowed sealed water bottles in, which helped.
👑 Go with friends or family. There’s something for everyone—shopping, shows, games, food, and even rides!
📅 The fest runs on weekends each spring, usually April through early June, in Fairburn, GA. This is it ends on June 1st....More
