I’ve had the chance to check out both the Upper West Side and Hell’s Kitchen locations, and each had its own unique vibe, but overall, both were a great experience. The Hell’s Kitchen spot stood out because it was noticeably bigger, offering a lot more space to enjoy your meal. The atmosphere was lively, with great music playing in the background that really set the tone. The food was exactly what I was hoping for—flavorful, satisfying, and incredibly affordable. For instance, their empanadas were only $4.50 each, and they were deliciously crispy and packed with filling. The margaritas were another pleasant surprise—at just $8, they were strong and well-made, especially considering it wasn’t even happy hour. Speaking of deals, they also offer a $15 lunch menu, which I haven't had the chance to try yet, but knowing the quality of their food, it seems like a steal. I’m definitely planning to check it out soon. And it’s not just the food and drinks that stand out—both locations have a distinct feel. The Hell’s Kitchen location is bright, spacious, and open, giving it a more vibrant, energetic vibe. In contrast, the Upper West Side spot is much smaller, with a cozier, more intimate feel, though it's a bit dimly lit, which gives it a more laid-back atmosphere. All in all, both locations offer a great experience, but I’d say Hell’s Kitchen is perfect if you're looking for a livelier setting with more space to spread out....More

El Coco has 3 locations in the city (Chelsea, UWS, and Hell’s Kitchen) and they have the cheapest menu I’ve seen in NYC. The margaritas are $5, the chips and guacamole is $12, the tacos are $7 etc. Definitely would recommend if you are ballin on a budget!...More
