This week my friend and I were feeling adventurous and decided to take a mixed level silks class at Chicago Aerial Arts, Chicago’s largest aerial arts facility!
The class was made of 8 other people, making it easy for us to get one-on-one help when needed. Our instructor was so kind and encouraging as he walked us through each flow!
It was $35 for a 1 hour intro class. They also have a deal of only $69 for 2 weeks of unlimited classes, you can purchase.
It was a fun way to get in some exercise, that isn’t just regular weight lifting.
If you’re looking for an activity that is exciting, challenging, and indoors for those rainy Chicago days- This place is a must!...More

This has been the one form of fitness I can’t ever get enough of! They offer aerial hoop, silks, and hammock classes. Also have flexibility and aerial conditioning as well. I’ve been doing this for years so I am in a higher level class but the level 1 classes are definitely beginner friendly, for all levels of strength and flexibility. Woman and lgbtq owned, super inclusive space. Amazing community of people in class is just an added bonus 😇
They offer trial classes for a great price, check out the schedule here:
