Rockville Civic Center is truly a hidden gem for cherry blossom viewing, away from the crowds. Today, the late-blooming cherry trees (Kan-zakura) are blooming along the path like pink clouds and mist. Daffodils fill the grassy areas. Walking past the lawn behind Glenview Mansion, there’s another secret garden (see pic 4) that leads to even more places where the cherry blossoms are in full bloom....More
