AAPI month is around the corner! I went to an AAPI girls event and wrote a manifestation letter to myself (that I’ll be opening at the end of the year)
We got food catering as well as goodie bags, and most importantly I walked out with new friends! ...More

Oh my god this was truly one of the best experiences I’ve been to this year and it was FREE. It was a well curated mix of film, art, fashion, and performance. I was blown away by everything especially the models/actors. They were amazing and looked amazing!! We need more things like this. ...More

There’s something special about wandering through Chelsea’s galleries on a weeknight—when the streets are calm but the art feels electric.
First stop: Mariana Ramos Ortiz’s hauntingly poetic piece, Las cosas que no mueren, where memory, soil, and cultural echo quietly press against the walls. The texture alone pulled me in—it felt like looking at a ghost preserved in earth.
Then the energy flipped with Sezgin Kızılkaya’s Red Clown series: bold, cinematic portraits that teeter between surreal whimsy and sharp social commentary. A woman cradling a chicken under red balloons? It’s giving Frida meets circus noir. 🎈🐓
Chelsea never fails to remind me how different artists speak to the same moment in wildly different languages—and how lucky we are to just walk in and listen.
