Birthplace of sea salt tea and originated from China, Johns Creek has the first location in the US from this boba franchise from China.
ChuChat is one of the most underrated boba places in metro Atlanta area, with such a nice ambience. The space is big with ton of seating and parking, perfect cafe to study at.
My personal favorites are all of their sea salt drinks: sea salt camellia tea, sea salt oolong tea, and sea salt coffee. This is a very acquired taste though, since I love salty drinks. There are small eats and Chinese style bread and desserts.
The only downside is ChuChat is in Johns Creek so it’s further out from the perimeter but definitely worth to try! ...More

My friend recommended this place to me and I knew I had to check it out if it involved boba.
They are known for their sea salt drinks and at first it sounded strange to me but omg that was so good!! I ordered the camellia sea salt ice tea (milk tea) and the floral tea aroma + the hint of sea salt + chewy boba made the perfect blend I finished the drink in like 5minutes…
Their food/pastries looked yummy too so I want to try that next time
They also have plenty of seating areas (with outlets and free wifi) so I did some work there for a few hours with no distractions. Highly highly recommend...More

I tried the Oolong Sea Salt Iced Tea, which is a perfect mix of salty and sweet. My friend got the Camellia Sea Salt Iced Tea, which we both agree tastes better 🤫
The California Sandwich offers a unique and delicious twist on the infamous California roll (cucumber, avocado, crab meat, seaweed), and it comes with tater tots 🍟 The Taiwanese chicken nuggets are well seasoned, and are perfect for sharing 🍗
The vibe here is totally on point too! Super comfy seating, stylish decor, and the perfect well-lit place to hang out with friends or chill on your own 🕺
