This was SUCH a cute quarter machine that dispenses stickers designed by artists in the city!!
It’s located in Bigelow Apothecary/ Chemists and the store in itself has such a unique collection of things from candles and mirrors to jewellery trays and what not! But the highlight was definitely this little machine (similar to the Ana Inacardi art prints in the Whitney) that has some cute options if you have 4 quarters to put in! And they are stickers so you use them! I had only four quarters so I used them and got a cute sticker of a girl with a bag of flowers, it’s so pretty and I’ll be back with more quarters for sure!

💊 Bigelow Pharmacy in Greenwich Village has the CUTEST collection of hair clips! I really liked the NYC themed ones (last picture) like the pizza rat and bagels hahaha
❤️ It is a working pharmacy with lots of hair care/body care items, but they also have adorable gifts like pill cases, mirrors, and gift boxes.
💵 The clips range from $20-30 but since they are hand painted I’d say they’re worth it! A great place to go with your friends or to buy a gift for a loved one. ...More

Since 1838, C.O. Bigelow has been serving as America’s oldest apothecary 👩🏾🔬 (pharmacy) in Greenwich Village. Unlike any chain pharmacy, C.O. Bigelow is also a purveyor of fine bath and body care, fine fragrances, and specialized, hard to find cosmetics.
The floor to ceiling shelves are filled with their own brand’s treasures from the past and modern finds from trending brands like Caudalie, Parfums de Marly, and Westman Atelier. Some of the more interesting items I found were licorice flavored Italian toothpastes, British boars hair bristle brushes, and elderflower pastilles.
