In Brooklyn Heights, there is a neighborhood that has a selection of middle eastern markets, restaurants and stores. I only found out about this area this week as I went to try out a restaurant named Boutrous. Inspired by his heritage, the chef has curated a delicious menu with a Lebanese-Syrian element. The pita bread was delicious and fresh, and the sides were paired so well with their flavoring. We had hummus, falafel and . For our main course we had the lamb shank shwarma that was so tender and came with lots of fresh pita, while this was on the expensive side- it is worth sharing and for us, paired with our sides, it even felt like enough for three people.
