Experience: I was in the area so decided to stop by the viral Swedish candy store, BonBon. I personally am a huge fan of Scandinavian style licorice so was really eager to get my hands on some - the different styles of licorice were incredible and definitely the star! ⭐️ The other gummy candies + few chocolate options weren’t bad either but nothing that different from your typical American candies.
Location: I went to the Williamsburg location (S 1st & Driggs), and there was no line whatsoever. Plus it was an absolutely stunning store.
Price: $4.50 per 1/4 pound. I spent ~$6 for what I thought was a good amount of candy (a couple pieces of everything I wanted to try)...More

After seeing several TikTok’s about BonBon, I had to try it for myself! This shop is so cute and colorful. I’m definitely glad that I checked it out and got to try so many interesting pieces of candy, but I think I’ve had enough candy to last me for a while now, so I probably won’t be returning anytime soon haha 🍬
Here are some key details:
📍Location: I went to the Williamsburg location in Brooklyn (705 Driggs Ave), but they have a few other locations on the Lower East Side and Upper East Side. They also have what I believe is their HQ located in the Columbia Street Waterfront District in Brooklyn (66 Degraw St), but this location is only open on the weekends (I’ve also heard that they host block parties on Sundays).
⏰Time: The Williamsburg location is open 7 days a week from 10 AM - Midnight.
💲Cost: I think the price was around $18 per pound of candy, and you can mix pretty much all of the candy together. This felt a little on the pricey side, but I still think it was worth it to try just this once.
📝Other helpful information: The Williamsburg location was nice, because I went on a weekday evening and there was no line, but when I tried to go to the LES location on a Sunday the line was very long, so I would suggest trying to go during a weekday and possibly hitting up one of their less popular locations to avoid a line. ...More
