I went to Birdland for the first time on last night to see Caity Gyorgy perform and it was amazing !!
Me and @Steven were a bit stressed because tickets sold out SO fast, but luckily we were able to get seats at the door! 😅
They had amazing gluten free food options (love to see it). I got the Mushroom Risotto cakes and the white truffle fondue was literally addicting. There is a $20 food minimum on top of the ticket price.
Charlie Owens also came on stage to perform which was an awesome surprise-his playing ability is literally I N S A N E. ✨
10/10 experience!! Will 100% be back.

Birdland offers more room than your average jazz spot. Tables are not crammed, it's not situated in a basement (even though I appreciate that vibe) and the food is surprisingly good in spite of the touristy-area-pricing.

Birdland was a fantastic date night for me and my boyfriend. We both opted for drinks for the $20 minimum per person. They were delicious and definitely worth it. I got the caipirinha and it was FANTASTIC. The main event was spectacular and the composer Arturo O’Farrill was hilarious. They explained the context of each song which was nice for us since we were beginners. I’d say bar seats are a great option if you get there 20/30 min early to get the best view. Would come again!...More

At Birdland Theater, I went with my family to enjoy a jazz night! The tickets were about $45 each.
Vince Giordano is a bass instrumentalist specializing in jazz of the 1920s & 30s. His Nighthawks Orchestra can be heard on film and TV soundtracks, including Boardwalk Empire, Succession, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Café Society, and Killers of the Flower Moon.
If you are into old time jazz, you’ll love this. I really appreciated the storytelling of this group. I laughed and had a nice time!
