A fave of mine for Restaurant Week last year was Benjamin's Steakhouse, however I went this year for lunch and I now have a different opinion.
They served us from the dinner menu (vs lunch menu, and charged accordingly: $60pp vs $45) even tho we were seated at 11:30am
The food came out pretty burnt and flavorless (even tho we ordered medium rare). Maybe their evening cook is better, IDK, but just be careful if you go here for RWeek lunch

The Canadian bacon appetizer and filet entrée, (which had a $10 surcharge,) were both burnt even tho we ordered the steak medium rare. That burnt taste just lingers in your mouth afterward and doesn’t go away!
The homefries were soggy and bland. The desserts were not great either, really disapointing.
However, the highlights: The calamari app and mashed potato side were really good
Unfortunately, overall wouldn't recommend coming here, (especially during lunch hours,) things may be better for dinner!

We tried the Devil’s Handshake (first pic) and the Fleur Garnis (second)
(Unfortunately we had a mishap at first when the waiter thought we ordered a Hendricks instead of the Handshake cocktail, but it was corrected without too much of an issue)
We absolutely LOVED the Devil’s Handshake - if I do ever come back here, I absolutely know what I’d get to drink!
The Fleur was good too, but not good enough to steal the show. ...More
