This was incredible. This spot has a comfortable homey feel, transports you to a small eatery in Jordan serving up delicious middle eastern food. It's run by two brothers and definitely a small business worth supporting if you're by prospect park.
Highly recommend getting the 🍛assorted platter ($18) with your choice of 5 cold apps. We got the bedawi salad, stuffed grape leaves, hummus, makdous, and the spinach and chickpeas -- good way to try a handful of spreads and comes with pita. Over ordered for 2 people, try either of these entrees the 🧆Merguez Platter ($18) spicy lamb sausage + baba ghanouj + pita, or the 🥙Chicken Sandwich ($13) lemon marinated wrap.
Honorable mention is the 🐮Ayran ($3) salted yoghurt drink, a first for me and felt like it complete the meal. Not for everyone! but I really enjoyed it.
P.S. there's also an outdoor patio in the back for the warmer months, need to come back to enjoy a meal out there next time!...More
