Baked in Brooklyn. Yup, the same pita chips brand you see in your supermarket. Did you know the store itself is located on 5th ave and 22 nd st in Sunset Park, BK? I was fascinated by the huge kitchen where the bakers were making cookies and sweets. Inside I was greeted with the tremendous options of BREADS.
So, today on Sunday, I tried my luck in ordering their phenomenal but hard to get on a Sunday afternoon at 4:30 pm, their sourdough round loaf. They have it!
Their sandwiches are absolutely delightful to try. I recommend the chicken avocado or the turkey blt. Fresh and tasty. You get a free bag of chips with a sandwich order. Their kitchen closes at 3pm M - Sat and 2 pm on Sundays. For desserts, the cupcakes, marble loaves, croissants are a must, but my favorite is the apple pie. If you have time to sit outside with a few tables and chairs, you can take in the peaceful view of the magnificent Green- Wood cemetery. ...More
