It’s official. Alabaster Bookshop has become my new favorite destination. There are a variety of well-loved books, vinyl records, paintings, magazines, and even rare leather-bound books that look from centuries ago. The owner of the bookstore is really friendly and though all of the books here may be used but still in great condition. Highly recommend treasure hunting here!

While walking through Greenwich Village I came upon Alabaster Bookshop, an incredibly cute, quaint and old school book store teaming with unique and extremely affordable finds! Although I love BookOff for a good used book, some bring about rummaging through their stacks and finding a great deal on a book of poetry, Configurations by Octavio Paz, made my day! I love the smell of old books and feeling the fraying paper, something feels so authentic to me knowing that someone else previously owned the same piece of text I did— not to mention it’s sustainable as well....More

There’s books on shelves for 3$ each but inside is cute and comfy...More
