Akiba House in Flushing is a must-visit for anime fans. Located inside Tangram Mall, it's packed with cool collectibles, stationary, figurines, blind boxes and Japanese snacks and/or drinks. The Gashapon machines are super fun, and there's surely something for everyone…..whether you're a hardcore otaku (people obsessed with anime & manga) or just getting into anime. The staff is friendly, and the store has a great vibe. Prices can be a bit high, but it can be worth it for the unique items that you love. I like often coming back to check once in a while.

Visited Tangram Mall in Queens, and one of my favorite stops was this amazing anime store! They had everything an anime fan could want, from shelves full of manga to plushies, figures, and tons of other merch. I spent so much time just looking at all the cool items, and it was hard not to grab everything. The variety was incredible, with something for every kind of fan, no matter your favorite series.
Right next to it, there was an arcade that made the whole experience even better. It had a bunch of fun games, and the vibe was so lively and exciting. Whether you’re into anime, gaming, or just want to hang out somewhere cool, this spot is perfect.
The whole mall has a unique and fun atmosphere, but this store and arcade made it unforgettable. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Queens and love anime culture!...More
