I am picky with my food, or at least with giving good reviews, because I have generally pretty high standards. If a new restaurant can get a “this food is yummy” then i think they have done well (LOLOL JK JK, I am definitely not a Michelin judge).
Point is, I think you can trust my judgement for the most part. Aji Katsu (in Johns Creek/Suwanee) is one of the newer Tonkatsu places that have recently opened up, and honestly, I enjoyed their tonkatsu. It was crispy, and i think the perfect thickness, and the ones with the cheese are also so yummy. Like others, I have my preference of tonkatsu, so don’t take my review to heart. The sauce and salad complemented the tonkatsu well, taking a bit of the grease away. I don’t think I’d come back often since I’m not much of a tonkatsu girl, but if I do crave it once in a full moon, this would be my choice. ...More
