Picture this - your s/o tells you they have a surprise for you, and they’re not going to tell you what it is til you get there...
Then, you pull up to a tiny airport full of little planes and you panic 😱 lol. That’s the experience I gave to my s/o at Air Mods!
So maybe not my best approach - but DAMN guys. This was worth it. It started with our instructor giving us a plane inspection and showing us all the features of the plane. Then, one of us piloted the plane right away. Taxied on the runway, and ascended with the help of the instructor. We flew from Robbinsville to Princeton and landed. Then, we switched and I took off!🤐
I’m not gonna lie - it was realllllly scary, lol. I was happy to be back on the ground, and I’m not super confident to say I’d do it again. BUT, I will always remember this experience! I cannot believe it was only $180 for two of us. We also each got a t-shirt and a certificate for completing it.
The $180 deal runs very seldom on Groupon so you have to check often. It doesn’t appear they’re currently running it, but they are running a $430 deal for 3 60 min flight lessons & ground school if you’re interested in getting licensed! Check it out on Groupon!
