Even if you aren’t super interested in architecture, the Center for Architecture is a really cool place to see art that just happens to be about buildings!
They have an art gallery downstairs and sometimes have other exhibits upstairs. When I went the installation was called Fairytale Architecture and all the pieces were buildings designed based on children’s stories. It was really cool to see how creative all the artist/architects were!
They also have lectures, film screenings, and book launches in their event space. I went to one about disability in architecture and it was very enlightening! Some of the events are ticketed, but many are free, and the galleries are always free to visit! ...More
