Took an aerial harness fly class at 5th Wall Studio in Williamsburg and absolutely loved it! The teacher was very careful and made sure everyone was doing okay/having a good amount of time in the air. She made sure people weren’t too dizzy and adjusted the amount of spinning if someone knew they get dizzy easily. The class ran a little bit over but was scheduled for 90 minutes so everyone has time to play in the air!
We went through basic harness work, front walkovers, back layouts/flips, and then different standard positions in the air. I had never done aerial harness work and had so much fun! Everything was super well explained for beginners.
Check out their classes and class rules here: https://5thwallstudio.com/classes . The classes around $45 dollars which definitely isn’t cheap but helps them maintain their equipment and space (it’s a fairly standard rate for aerial classes in the city).
